Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah) Activities
Updated: Aug 31
If you have young children, you might like to try these activities that I created for the Feast of Trumpets.
This Yom Teruah Word Search is suitable for children who are able to recognise letters. Even if children do not know how to read the words, they can still find them. These activities are great for developing young readers' skills.
In the same download is a simple colouring and tracing activity suitable for those who are developing fine motor control and learning to write and colour.
A simple and playful colouring sheet. Draw your own patterns on the shofar and colour the lettering.
Two pages: one with 'Make a joyful noise unto the Lord', the other with, 'Make a joyful noise unto YHVH.'
Have fun!
A more advanced Word Search, three pages. One page of additional ideas of ways to use the Word Search words with your children.
If you have downloaded these Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah) Activities, please let me know what you think!
You are free to use these for personal use, within your own family.
Not for reproducing, selling, etc unless permission is given.
Enjoy!
Much love and blessings to you and your family.
