Hello!

And welcome!

I'm Rachael, a teacher, homeschooling mother, resource creator and a whole Bible believing Christian.

I used to be a Primary teacher, and then I moved into Secondary teaching.

I've home-schooled my boys all through their schooling, apart from my first child attending school up to year 1.

After homeschooling my children, I went back to work as a Reading Intervention Specialist, assisting students in small groups with their spelling, reading and writing. The program was based on the Science of Reading. I wished I had known about this program when I was homeschooling my boys. Although I had been a teacher, I felt 'stuck' when it came to teaching my own children how to read and write.

After this, I started a tutoring business, focusing on reading, spelling and writing. I wanted to help homeschool parents and students, to ease the burden of pressure and stress that I felt when I was homeschooling. The progress I saw was wonderful. I wanted to share this with you, too!

I'm a Chrstian, but not the kind of 'Christian' I used to be. I now think of myself as a whole Bible believer, and someone who wants to actually do what the Bible teaches.

I desire to help others who may be feeling God calling them to follow Him in real obedience, and offer some suggestions for support, encouragement and teaching.

I appreciate people who display their love for God with genuine love for others, especially the 'outcasts' in society.
